ICACCA 2017 is Technically Sponsored by IEEE UP Section (Region 10). Papers accepted for presentation, after the double blind review process, and presented at the conference, will be submitted for possible inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library and also indexed in Scopus and google Scholar. This requires that all papers submitted for publication must meet a minimum standard for both print and electronic publishing.

The aim of International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication & Automation (ICACCA 2017) provides an international open forum for the researchers and technocrats in academia as well as in industries from different parts of the world to interact, exchange concepts, prototypes, innovative research ideas and share the outcomes of their research work which could contribute to the academic arena and further benefit the business and industrial community.

This conference will provide an excellent opportunity for the young researchers to expose their work to international scrutiny, receive feedback from peers from different parts of world, gain from the vast experience and expertise of the leaders in this important field of research and to open up the scope for new research collaborations among the international community of participants and invited delegates. The conference will be held in Tula’s Institute, The Engineering & Management College Dehardun, on 15 & 16 Septemer 2017. It will feature world-class keynote speakers, exhibits and special sessions, along with the regular paper presentations. The conference welcomes paper submissions from researchers, practitioners, academicians and students, and will cover myriad tracks in the Advance Computing, Communication and Automation.

Call for Papers

The ICACCA2017 welcome submissions that have not been published and that are not under review by another conference or journal. ICACCA 2017 is creating a unique platform with an interdisciplinary approach addressing various important verticals that drives innovation and is of prime importance across engineering fields.

The scientific community has witnessed radical changes thorough its innovative approach and research in all engineering disciplines. The community has matured to develop and adopt latest tools and techniques that allow researchers from multiple platforms, research laboratories, institutes, etc., across the globe, to work together.

The theme of the conference is broadly based on the disciplines, namely, Computer Science & Engineering/IT/MCA, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Prof S. N. Singh obtained his M. Tech. and Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, in 1989 and 1995, respectively. Presently, he is a Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. Before joining IIT Kanpur as Associate Professor, Dr Singh worked with UP State Electricity Board as Assistant Engineer from 1988 to 1996, with Rookree University (Now IIT Rookree) as Assistant Professor from 1996 to 2000 and with Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand as Assistant Professor from 2001 to 2002. Dr Singh received several awards including Young Engineer Award 2000 of Indian National Academy of Engineering, Khosla Research Award of IIT Roorkee, and Young Engineer Award of CBIP New Delhi (India), 1996. Prof Singh is receipt of Humboldt Fellowship of Germany (2005, 2007) and Otto-monsted Fellowship of Denmark (2009-10).His research interests include power system restructuring, FACTS, power system optimization & control, security analysis, wind power, etc. Prof Singh is a Fellow of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) India, a Senior Member of IEEE, USA, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK) and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India). Recently he received 2013 IEEE Educational Activities Board Meritorious Award in Continuing Education which is very prestigious award, first time won by a person of R10 region (Asia-Pacific).

Prof Singh has published more than 370 papers in International/national journals/conferences. He has also written two books one on Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution and second is Basic Electrical Engineering, published by PHI, India.

Dr Singh was Chairman, IEEE UP Section for 2013 and 2014, and presently, he is IEEE Region 10 Conference and Technical Seminar Coordinator 2015-16.

Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland

Marcin Paprzycki is an associate professor at the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences. He has an MS from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and a D.Sc. Degree from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He is a senior member of IEEE, a senior member of ACM, a Senior Fulbright Lecturer, and an IEEE CS Distinguished Visitor. He has contributed to more than 450 publications and was invited to the program committees of over 500 international conferences. He is on the editorial boards of 12 journals and a book series.

Dr. David Asirvatham is currently the Dean for the school of Computing and IT, Taylor’s University. Prior to this, he was the Director for theCentre of Information Technology at University of Malaya. He has held numerous posts such the Associate Dean for Faculty of Information Technology (Multimedia University), Project Manager for the Multimedia and IT Infrastructure Development for a university campus (US14 million), Finance Committee for Multimedia University, SAP Advisory Council, Consultant for e-University Project and many more. Dr. David completed his Ph.D. from Multimedia University, M.Sc. (Digital System) from Brunel University (U.K.), and B.Sc. (Hons) Ed. and Post-grad Diploma in Computer Science from University of Malaya. He has been lecturing as well as managing ICT projectsfor the past 25 years.His area of expertise will include
Neural Network, E-Learning, ICT Project Management, Multimedia Content Development and recently he has done some work on Big Data and IoT.
At the national level, he was the Chairman, ICT Human Capital Development for 11th Malaysia Plan 2016-2020 (Prime Minister’s Office), Secretary for the Artificial Intelligence Society Malaysia, Country Representative for the Asia E-learning Network (AEN) based in Japan, Steering Committee Member for the Implementation of E-Learning for Malaysian Public Sector, and Member of the Malaysian Grid for Learning’s (MyGfL) Standards Expert Group (SEG), 2003-2004.
At International level, he worked on various ICT Projects and e-learning Workshops in South Africa, Sudan, Iran, Ghana, Kenya, Vietnam, Maldives, Bangladesh (World Bank Project), UAE, India and Brunei.

Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, born on 14 th March, 1971 at Patiala, Punjab (India), graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Mysore University, Mysore in the year 1993. He did his Master of Engineering in Power & Machines from Thapar University, Patiala and Ph.D. in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering from SLIET (A Centrally Funded Deemed University established by Govt. of India), Longowal. Starting his teaching profession as Lecturer from SLIET in the year 1997, he has now attained the position of Director, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, and New Delhi presently on deputation. Dr. Manna was deputed as visiting Associate Professor by Ministry of HRD to AIT, Bangkok during 2012 session. He is a Fellow of Institutions of Engineers (India) and ISQEM, UK. He is Senior Member of IEEE USA, ISRD USA and IETI, Hong Kong. Dr. Manna is also Life Member of ISTE India, IACSIT Singapore and member of Advisory Council of CEGR India. Dr. Manna has published about 140 Research Publications for leading National and International Journals and attended a number of Conferences in the field of Engineering and Technology. He has delivered Expert Talks on various topics in his area of expertise on National TV channels and Institutions in India and abroad apart from Chairing the session in IASTED Conferences at San Francisco, USA and Bangkok, Thailand. He is serving as Editor and Reviewer for many International Referred Journals, Books and AICTE News Bulletin. He has also contributed chapters for various prominent technical education books. He has guided many UG and PG Projects/ Dissertations. Keeping in view his vast experience in the area of Technical Education, IEEE Society has elected him as Executive Member for IEEE Delhi Section for the year 2016. Dr. Manna has been nominated as member of the various committees like J & K state fee Committee and BOGs. He is also nominated by Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) as Member of Divisional Railway User Consultative Committee (DRUCC). He has been conferred with the ‘Bharat Excellence Award’ with ‘Gold Medal’ by the Former Election Commissioner of India at IIC, New Delhi in 2014.
Dr. Manna is also recipient of ‘Shreshth Aacharya Award-2011’, ‘Best Citizens of India Award-2014’ from FFI, New Delhi, ‘Outstanding Faculty Award-2015 VIFFA’ at Chennai and ‘Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar-2015’ from CEGR, New Delhi.

Dr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat is currently Professor of Computer Science and Director of School of Computing at Manipal University Jaipur. His research areas include computer networks, distributed computing, AI and Soft Computing, GIS and Spatial Analysis and Embedded Systems. Before this position he has directed strategic programs of Smart Energy Systems at the R&D unit of Secure Meters Ltd. He spent a large part of his career at Central Electronics Engg Research institute (CEERI) as a Scientist starting in 1983 while driving R&D programmes in IT Systems and Industrial Controls systems. He has also worked at University of Bremen and German Research Centre of IT, Bonn, as Visiting Scientist and Principal Investigator for international collaborative research projects. He has guided more than 100 PG students and published 50+ research papers in reputed national and international conferences and as many research reports. He also has patents and copy-rights to his credit. Since July 2015 his focus shifted to transfer his learnings to the budding engineers which he acquired while at R&D institutions and industry. He has obtained PhD from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani as well as MS, B.Tech (EEE), and M.Sc. (Hons) Physics.
