More than 300 hundred students in Dehradun got together at Tula’s Institute – The Engineering and Management College to participate in Ed-vantage YAPPON which is India’s largest coding hackathon organized by
Edukinect and Microsoft. The event was organized for the aspiring Indian youth.
The objective of YAPPON was to provide a platform by inviting developers across India from Engineering colleges, leading industry partners on a common platform to collaborate. In simple words, Dream an idea, learn with us, build apps and be ready to launch your career with YAPPON was the companies mantra.
Tula’s Institute over the past few months has successfully conducted various Microsoft Events which includes Microsoft Web-Camp, Window’s Azure Training, India’s Biggest AppFest to name a few. It is notable to know that Tula’s Institute since its inception in 2006 has always been at the forefront of change and is thus regarded as one of the Top Engineering Colleges in Uttarakhand.
The event is the brain-child of EduKinect which is a leading Microsoft Academic Partner, working across Technology domains on products for Education, Healthcare and many more. Edukinect is working with 150 campuses across India, helping them in driving technology and innovation at grass root-level catering more than 30000 students.
Speaking on the occasion Mrityunjay Bhadauria CEO & Co-Founder of Edukinect stated how excited he was coming to Dehradun and the commitment and dedication shown by students of Tula’s Institute was second to none. He further stated that at Edukinect it is their vision to drive innovation and the grass root-level and what better than giving the students an opportunity to launch their career in this technology-driven century.
Silky Jain Head Corporate Relation at Tula’s Institute stated,” It was a very proud moment for us to be involved with the country’s largest Hackathon. We at Tula’s firmly believe that as an Institution one has to be futuristic with regards to changing trends in the current scenario. I have to admit to seeing the students coding for more than 16 hours all through-out the night from 2 pm to 6 am is praiseworthy, to say the least.”
