The Inauguration Chief Guest was Mr. Joseph Landes General Manager-India Developer and Platform Evangelism at Microsoft. The event started with the lighting of Diyas, which impressed the Chief Guest, he stated “I really understood the meaning of “Atithi Devo Bhava”.
Mr. Sunil K Jain introduced the Chief Guest to the audience. The Seminar was based on “Innovation”, Mr. Landes stated “Be a part of the change else watch the change happening”, Microsoft Innovation Centre (MIC) will not only add value to the students of Tula’s Institute but also will act as a connecting hub for several neighbouring colleges and institutions.
Expressing her vision for MICs at her institution, Ms. Silky Jain, Executive Director, said, “Innovation is an intrinsic part of the philosophy we live here at Tula’s Institute, which was established with the aim of providing quality higher education on par with international standards. Being a part of the first group of the Microsoft Innovation Centres (MICs) in India, we see Tula’s Institute becoming a centre for applied technology solutions, digital literacy and a creator of socio-economic change in the community and the economy. The technology areas that we will focus on include Cloud, Mobile, and other core technologies, will allow us to provide a holistic skill roadmap for all our students, whether they want to pursue a career in technology, academics or business.
