The International Mother Tongue Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Tulas Institute. Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organised an extempore event which saw participants speaking in various Indian languages. Some students expressed their views in the Lhotshampa language from Bhutan and Nepali too.
The event was a roaring success where the students came to know about the importance of their mother tongue and enjoyed the diversity of our country.
