7 Clubs at Tula’s Institute for Student Hobbies

1. Footloose Club

Dance has been a part of our lives since ages. It is one of the earliest forms of entertainment that man has known. Numerous dancing styles have emerged over the years with new ones being invented time and again. It is an effective way to exercise and remain healthy. It leads to a comprehensive physical, emotional and mental well-being. Apart from being a hobby and an exercise, dance can also offer great career opportunities. People can venture into opening dance studios and becoming choreographers and dancers. The Footloose club in Tula’s Institute is active in providing a platform for the students to perform and enhance their dancing skills. Students can learn a variety of dance forms ranging from hip hop and robotics to classical, freestyle as well as Bollywood.

2. Catwalk Club

The world of fashion has always ruled the hearts of the youth, so it comes as no surprise that fashion shows are equally loved by them. Not only do the youngsters love to keep up with the latest fashion trends, but many of them also aspire to walk the ramp as models. The Catwalk club at Tula’s organizes fashion shows in various events of the college. Students are groomed and trained to walk the ramp. 3. Sargam Club

With the abundance of reality television programmes based on singing, it has become one of the most desirable hobbies for all and sundry. Singing is something that comes naturally to everyone, whatever be the quality of their voice. But even people with no knowledge of rhythm or beats can excel with proper guidance and constant training. Tula’s Institute provides this singing experience to its students through the Sargam club where students get to showcase their musical talents. 4. Ravindro Club

Till date, theatre is known to be a serious art. It is commonly seen that actors who have a history of acting in theatre are considered to be serious towards their work. Many examples can be seen in the Indian film industry itself, such as Om Puri, Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Raghuveer Yadav, and Anupam Kher. Tula’s Institute also actively participates in the Dehradun International Film Festival (DIFF) every year.
