Tula’s Institute realises the importance of balancing extracurricular activities along with academics for students. The college provides for VIBGYOR, an organisation formed and managed by students. VIBGYOR has seven clubs that function to cater to the various interests of the students.

1. Footloose Club

Dance has been a part of our lives since ages. It is one of the earliest forms of entertainment that man has known. Numerous dancing styles have emerged over the years with new ones being invented time and again. It is an effective way to exercise and remain healthy. It leads to a comprehensive physical, emotional and mental well-being. Apart from being a hobby and an exercise, dance can also offer great career opportunities. People can venture into opening dance studios and becoming choreographers and dancers. The Footloose club in Tula’s Institute is active in providing a platform for the students to perform and enhance their dancing skills. Students can learn a variety of dance forms ranging from hip hop and robotics to classical, freestyle as well as Bollywood.

2. Catwalk Club

The world of fashion has always ruled the hearts of the youth, so it comes as no surprise that fashion shows are equally loved by them. Not only do the youngsters love to keep up with the latest fashion trends, but many of them also aspire to walk the ramp as models. The Catwalk club at Tula’s organizes fashion shows in various events of the college. Students are groomed and trained to walk the ramp. It provides them with an opportunity to test themselves as models and also pursue the industry if they wish to.

3. Sargam Club

With the abundance of reality television programmes based on singing, it has become one of the most desirable hobbies for all and sundry. People are also attracted towards the fame and recognition that television brings, which makes singing an even more popular platform to gain that success. Singing is something that comes naturally to everyone, whatever be the quality of their voice. But even people with no knowledge of rhythm or beats can excel with proper guidance and constant training. Tula’s Institute provides this singing experience to its students through the Sargam club where students get to showcase their musical talents. The club also incorporates band performers and different musical instrument players. The club is suitable for everyone who has an inclination towards singing of any form.

4. Ravindro Club

Till date, theatre is known to be a serious art. It is commonly seen that actors who have a history of acting in theatre are considered to be serious towards their work. Many examples can be seen in the Indian film industry itself, such as Om Puri, Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Raghuveer Yadav, and Anupam Kher. The list is endless. Ravindro club of Tula’s Institute gives a chance to display the acting skills of students. They get to act as well as improve their performances.

Tula’s Institute also actively participates in the Dehradun International Film Festival (DIFF) every year. DIFF provides a platform to the aspiring talents of Uttarakhand to interact with the renowned members of the film industry. The college also invites popular members of the film and television fraternity, who share their experiences and valuable tips and tricks of the art with the students. The club gives freedom to the students to explore the genre of drama, stand-up comedy, stage plays and theatre.

5. Expresso Club

Every human being has infinite things to share, but not everyone knows the art to do it. Communication, be it intrapersonal or interpersonal, is a very important aspect of life. One must be sure of their thoughts and opinions so that it is easy to communicate the same to others. The Expresso club of Tula’s Institute allows students to get on stage and speak their hearts out. 6. Technocrats Club

Tula’s Institute has numerous students who live to love engineering. The Technocrats club functions on the same philosophy. It is a great platform for the students to come up with original and innovative inventions and reach new heights of technology.
