UTKRISHT is an annual Technical Fest of Tula’s Institute that was recently held in the college. Utkrisht is an initiative of the engineering students combined with the efforts of their HOD’s. The 2 day tech-fest attracts not just participants but also students from across the state.
The first day of the event was flagged off in the presence of Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain Chairman Tula’s Institute and Mr. Raunak Jain VP- Tula’s Group. The event saw Technical Paper presentation by students from various departments (CS,IT,EC,EEE,ME) not just from Tula’s institute but various other colleges from Uttarakhand.
Utkrisht provides an ideal platform to the students to showcase their innate talent. It is such initiatives by the management of the college that have resulted in Tula’s Institute being ranked among top 10 engineering college in Uttarakhand.

The main highlights of Utkrisht’13 were Adavya, AD-o-mania, Bridget the gap, circuit tackle, Dexter’s lab, reckless robot, tech-rangoli, tech-quilt, a treasure hunt to name a few.
Some of the results of events are as follows – In one of the events ‘Adavya’which is a Technical PowerPoint presentation – Harshit and Chetan stood first from CS-IT stream, Vivek Rajput and Vivek Kaushik from ME and Deepak and Saket stood second. From EC Sagar Sharma and Prachi Sharma stood 1st and Priya and Zeeshan stood second.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Raunak Jain VP of Tula’s Institute opined that, ‘Utkrisht’13 signifies how important quality education is and it is the overall development of the students that have made this event a real success. The whole event was conceptualized to perfection and I have nothing but praise for my students and faculty who really”.
The entire event was managed by the students of the college under the supervision and guidance of the convener Mr. Pranshu Arora.
The 2nd annual Technical Fest of Tula’s Institute – UTKRISHT’12 took place at the campus here today. Founded by the Engineering club of the college along with their HOD’s the 2 day tech-fest attracted not just participants but also visitors from various other colleges across the state.
The first day of the event was flagged off in the presence of Ms. Silky Jain Ex. Director Tula’s Institute which saw Technical Paper presentation by students from various departments (CS, IT, EC, EEE, ME) not just from Tula’s institute but various other colleges across the state.GauravMamgai secured the first position in the CS/IT. Similarly, Vikas Rawat from Tula’s and Nikita Shridhar from Drona’s stood 1st in their respective groups.
Utkrisht’12 highlights the need for India to promote youngsters by giving them a chance to showcase their talent and this was a prime example of the same. The students of the college were the real heroes who worked endlessly on taking all possible steps to make this event a success.
“At Tula’s Institute we firmly believe in the philosophy of educating the students for the future and through this event, we managed to project the standard that is expected and most importantly the level and creativity on display left me speechless, to say the least stated,” Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain – Chairman Tula’s Institute.
The main highlights of Utkrisht’12 were the Robo-GP specially dedicated to India’s first racing circuit – Buddh International. The Robo-GP is modeled in the same lines as Formula1 which saw Robot’s racing against one another.
Apart from Robo-GP the tech-fest also drew huge attention in terms of participation in other allied events which included – Srijaan (working model) which was won by the team of Nitin Chaudhary, Chatur Singh and ShudhirDobhal EC 3rd year from Tula’s Institute. Some other prominent highlights of the event were The Robo-war, Electronic circuit designing, Dexter’s lab(junkyard), Technical quiz, Genesis etc.
Speaking on the occasion Ms. Silky Jain Ex. Director of Tula’s Institute opined that ‘Utkrisht’12 signifies the importance good and quality education has on the students. The whole event was conceptualized to perfection and I have nothing but praise for my students and faculty who really worked as hard as one can imagine over the past few weeks to make this all possible”.
The entire event was managed by the students of the college under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Atul Kumar HOD.
Finally to culminate the proceedings on day 1 saw ‘War of Bands’ which is basically an event which includes Bands of various colleges competing against one another.
Utkrisht day 1 was truly memorable for me in all aspects, being a part of this tech-fest made me feel so proud opined –Vedant Sah B.Tech 2nd year Tula’s Institute.
