Tula’s Institute is also known for offering cutting-edge learning methods for the students so that they can hone their skills and get ready for the corporate world.
To decide the ranking of colleges some standard modules are set by Times of India.
There are 3 major modules on the basis of which Times of India allocates the ranking of different higher educational institutions i.e. Desk Research, Factual survey & Perceptual Rating survey followed by scientifically developed analysis & ranking process.
Module 1 I Desk Research:
This is the very first parameter. With the help of different sources like internet, magazines and other publications a pervasive list of engineering colleges is made. So many other sources are also used for the generation of the engineering college list that includes:
List of colleges/ universities from previous surveys
A discussion with industry experts to add/ delete any college to ensure we have a comprehensive list
However, it is not possible to get a comprehensive list of each college and to include them in the survey. To give equal opportunities to all the colleges, they have the option of adding a new name of the college to the survey form. So that if any responder takes the name of the college out of their list, then they could include that college into their list. In short, we can say that they take full care of that there is no injustice occurred with any college or institute.
Module 2 I Factual Data Collection:
This is the second parameter. As the name reflects the It only means that what is the fact of the college.
Factual data questionnaires are sent to more than 800 engineering colleges and then firmly followed up with the colleges through telephone, email and even various face-to-face approaches as needed.
The Factual Data sheets are focused on the following information areas:
General Information of the college: It includes the year of establishment of the college, college type which means is it a government college or private college? Are those Degrees College or Management College? Is it a deemed university or government-affiliated college?
The above are the aspects that come under this.
Courses Offered & Number of Seats
Potential to network
Exchange Program & Global exposure
Research Orientation & Focus
Module 3 I Perceptual Survey:
The Third module is Perceptual Survey. This Module strongly emphasis on the perception of the colleges. Structured questionnaires are sent to the selected respondents like HR Professionals, faculty, alumni, current students and aspiring students.
So that they understand the experience of different colleges, what they know what they think about college. Basically, to know the perception of the other colleges these surveys are done.
Research Orientation & Focus
Overall Brand Value
An organized step by step process is followed to arrive at the final ranking of colleges.
On the basis of the factual score and Perceptual score, colleges are ranked by Times Engineering.
All the above modules are not only applicable to a particular field. It includes all the educational fields like engineering, management, law, pharmacy, architecture etc.
If we see the all modules which are used as ranking modules by Times engineering is actually concerned to all the students who want to join an institute for better learning. If anyone is not able to make the decisions that which college will be the best for him/her, according to this figure, they can choose a good college for themselves for higher qualification.
