Tula’s Institute hosted ‘Talking Faith for Peace’

Tula’s Institute hosted an Interfaith and Multicultural Dialogue ‘Talking Faith for Peace’. The 3-day session was held in association with Uttarakhand Minorities Commission and Sarvam Foundation.

The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Chairperson of Uttarakhand State Commission for Minorities, Mr. NJ Bindra. The panelists included Mr. Hindol Sengupta (representing Hinduism, author of Being Hindu), Ms. Nazia Yusuf Izuddin (representing Islam), Mr. Sanjay Jain (representing Jainism), Mr. Harbhajan Singh (representing Sikhism), Mr. Satish John (representing Christianity) and Mr. Norbu Wangchuk (representing Buddhism).

The students were exposed to secularism and understanding of each other’s religion and culture.
